Timing is everything…
This timing isn’t the best.
We’ve needed rain for a while. Since the beginning of September, we’re behind almost 7″ of rain. We need it! I wish it wasn’t coming during one of the biggest travel weeks of the whole year – but we’ll take what we can get.
If you’re heading out tonight or Monday, you should be fine. Highs on Monday will be in the low 60s. The rain should hold off until Monday night. Tuesday should be the worst day for travel. I can’t promise there’s any window that will be dry during the whole day. Highs will be in the upper 50s.
By Wednesday, the heaviest rain will be over eastern NC. If you’re headed in that direction, you’ll still be dealing with it but the western half of the state will have spottier showers. Highs will reach the low 60s.
Thanksgiving is looking like one of the best days. We will be dry with highs in the upper 50s.
Be safe and have a great week!
